Traffic-medical report

New to the job?

Want to become a bus or truck driver?

No problem — we'll explain exactly what you need. Simple and clear.

Retraining through the job centre

Sent by the job centre for retraining as a bus or truck driver? You'll need a medical exam first — that's what we do.

We issue the certificate

What happens at the doctor's?

We check whether you're physically fit to drive. Eyes, ears, heart, blood — that's it. Takes about an hour. Afterwards you get a document for the licensing office.

No need to worry — no test, no exam to pass

Even if you have a health condition?

High blood pressure, diabetes, glasses — that's not an automatic no. We'll look at what's possible together. Many people still drive trucks or buses.

Ask first, decide later
Dr. Kroker im Gespräch mit Patient

Dr. med. Claudia Kroker

Family doctor with over 23 years of experience in Mönchengladbach-Rheindahlen. Specialist in general medicine, licensed for traffic-medical examinations per FeV Annex 5.

She explains every step of the exam clearly — on request also in plain language or in English.

How it works — in simple words
1
Book an appointment with us

Online or by phone. You don't have to be our patient.

2
Bring your ID, that's it

If you wear glasses — bring them. If you take medication — bring the list. That's all you need.

3
We examine you — one hour

Eye test. Hearing test. Blood sample. Listening to your heart. That's all. We explain every step to you.

4
You receive your certificate

Since blood is drawn, the lab result is needed — your certificate follows 1–2 days later. You then hand it in at the licensing office or driving school — and you're good to go.
